Made A Few Changes To This Blog
July 17th, 2007 | by ChrisM |First, I changed the permalink structure. Originally, it resulted in long URLs for posts, that had less clout with search engines than the current approach.
Now each post should simply be accessible by it’s name, no need for the category, date, or anything else.
For example, this post should hopefully be accessible via http://test.chrismerriman.com/made-a-few-changes-to-this-blog/
Secondly, I found the line of code from the post below this that caused the sidebars to go wrong, on some themes. Hopefully that should all be sorted now.
Finally, I’ve tweaked the header image a little, hopefully it looks fine now?
